Our Philosophy
ADAPT:
To change something to suit different
conditions.
It is said "the only constant in life is change" so our choice then
becomes, adapt to the situation or be left behind. Given this, we choose
to be progressive, yet embrace the past without being
trapped by it. It is important to understand "what was" and "why" in
order to gain wisdom from it, but one cannot stop there. We must
adapt historical wisdom so it can be applied to the world as it is NOW.
This allows us to preserve concepts and principles from the past
while being realistic as to their application in the world of today.
EVOLVE:
To develop something gradually, often into something more complex or advanced.
From our first moments on Earth we are learning, we are growing, we are
evolving, this is the way of nature. We see this in all things and should
apply it to our training as well. Nature's truths are independent of context, when
we realize this; we start to see how we are connected to the world around us.
Evolution means change so naturally some will fear that which they
don't understand or cannot comprehend and lobby against it. I know of nothing that's worth while
that is easy though so expect opposition and plan for it. This is all part
of the evolution and will ultimately make you stronger as a result.
TRANSCEND:
To go beyond a limit or range, e.g. of thought or belief.
At the height of any endeavor one goes beyond what was initially sought.
Beyond mechanics, beyond conscious thought, transcending from something
you did to simply "being who you are".
