T.F.T. was developed to allow
normal men and women to build strength, mobility
and flexibility as efficiently as possible while at the same time training
movements that have real world self protection applications.
The result of this is a training program that equates to better performance in life, sports, and in Combatives.
So as we see it, this just makes good sense!
The Program Includes:
A COMBATIVE WARMUP We use a non contract warmup exercise that
goes though some basic kicks and punches in isolation. This serves to warm the entire body in preparation for
the class.
BODY WEIGHT DRILLS No weights to buy, use the weight of you own body
to take your fitness to the next level. It is from these drills that we not only get fit, but we simultaneously
build combative abilities.
GOING AT YOUR OWN PACE
Go at the rate thats appropriate for you and as you improve simply add more reps.
This fact allows you to tailor the program to your own particular fitness needs.
A UNIQUE HEAVY BAG WORKOUT Want to work off stress? We have the solution for you. Part of T.F.T. concentrates
on a ground and pound heavy bag workout. Here the students will
explore different methods and body positions to strike from. This is an amazing workout
in its own right!
TABATA INTERVALS We use twenty seconds of
GO and ten seconds of
REST, 8 cycles per activity. This
process is know as
Tabata Interval Training
In this manner we can minimize our time spent, while maximizing the results.
NO CONTACT TRAINING T.F.T. is a non contact fitness method with drills and mechanics that do not put students in
dangerous or precarious positions. Instead we seek to use the body
in the most biomechanically sound structures possible (ones that promote control and mobility).
10 WEEKS TO A BETTER YOU T.F.T. is comprised of several levels built around a 10 week training matrix. Each exercise and its placement, has been engineered to provide the best results in the least amount of time. This is how we start "building a better you....."
