Justin Everman is a Christian, husband, father, entrepreneur, and founder of the A.C.W.A. He’s a lifelong student of personal defense who believes God calls us to protect, serve, and strengthen ourselves and the people entrusted to our care.
Justin’s journey into personal protection began at a young age after experiencing years of relentless bullying, which forced him to find real solutions in order to protect himself.
Those experiences sparked a lifelong pursuit of personal protection, human behavior, and the study of real-world violence, ultimately shaping the system he teaches today.
For Justin, the A.C.W.A. is more than a self-defense system, it’s a purpose. That purpose is to help everyday people become more capable, more confident, and more prepared to protect themselves and the people they love.
Before teaching full time, Justin spent 18 years as an Electrical Engineer in high-level corporate environments solving complex problems under pressure. That experience shaped his approach to self-defense. Engineers rely on systems, preparation, redundancy, and proven processes, and the A.C.W.A. was built the same way.
Drawing from decades of training experience, multiple combative disciplines, behavioral psychology, and engineering systems thinking, Justin built a practical approach focused on real-world violence, not sport or competition. Students learn to recognize danger early, avoid conflict when possible, de-escalate when appropriate, and respond decisively when necessary. Training covers situational awareness, pre-assault indicators, multiple attackers, low-light environments, confined spaces, instinct based responses, and decision-making under stress.
His approach develops not only physical skill, but also the verbal and psychological skills that most traditional systems and sport-based frameworks often overlook.
Self-defense is not about fighting. It’s about protecting yourself and your family, becoming a hard target, and carrying yourself with confidence instead of fear — that understanding alone is a game changer!
Students leave with more than techniques. They leave with awareness, confidence, better judgment, and a practical framework for protecting themselves and the people who matter most to them.
TRAIN WITH JUSTINIn a world where so much divides us, I wanted to create something different: a training community that unites people. A place for everyone to train, grow, and feel at home. Here, we pursue a shared purpose: building real capability, real confidence, and real protection for ourselves, our families, and our community.
